Milton S. Schwartz '62 '66

Milton S., 69, of New Milford, NJ passed away on Wednesday, February 15th, 2012. Milt was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in New Milford, NJ for 32 years. He graduated from James Madison High School in 1958 and received his B.S. and M.S. from Brooklyn Polytech in Metallurgical Engineering. He started his own business, Materials Expertise, Inc., in Fairfield, NJ in 1975. Among other things, he did consulting work on the Space Shuttle and the Harpoon Missile System. Milt was a ham radio operator for many years; his call letters were K2ZXO. He took up motorcycling at the age of 53 and enjoyed riding for as long as his health permitted. He was very proud of his four women --- his wife of almost 40 years, Barbara, their twin daughters, Lauren and Debbie, and their older daughter, Bonnie --- and he never tired of letting people know that in 2005 Bonnie successfully swam the English Channel from England to France.
